When big companies fail, the CEO’s always seem to walk with millions and/or another cushy job. The rank and file walk with pensions, health care, and job security all gone like blossoms in the wind. How is it that a company that goes bust (supposedly bankrupt) has more than enough funds to secure the fat bank accounts of it’s executives? Why should they walk with a dime? If the leadership of a company drives it into the ground, that leadership should be the very last to get paid. That should be the bottom line, always.

If you allow special education personnel to continue to tell untruths and do not call them on the untruths; they will continue to lie! In my opinion the situation will get worse as many school personnel will just escalate the lies, due to the fact that the parent is not stopping them!

An independent public education research group found that charters are better for middle school students, worse for elementary school students, and there was no consistent pattern for high school students.
When I was in about fifth grade I entered a program called Talented and Gifted (TAG). The in school program allowed me to use all my senses to learn and create. I thoroughly enjoyed the time in the class and it quickly became one of my favorite classes. Each day I couldn’t wait to get to TAG because it helped me learn in my own way. We usually did math and word puzzles using colors and blocks. TAG really helped me learn how to work around my disability. Most public schools still offer this program as an after school activity.
How will this be resolved? Will UTLA sue? And, in the meantime, teachers will be held accountable. Those who voted “no” on the Tentative Agreement has a foreboding this would happen. The question is “Now what”?
